This course is a complete foundation program in Indian classical and Rabindra Sangeet, designed for beginners to lower-intermediate learners who want to develop strong vocal and musical skills.

🎤 1. Voice Culture through Swar Riyaaz

Learn the essentials of voice training including breathing techniques and diaphragm control. Practice vowel-based exercises like Aakar, Ekar, and Ukar to improve tone clarity. Develop flexibility with Alankars in three speeds, and get introduced to Meend (glides) and basic scale shifting. Special focus is given to expanding vocal range and control.

🎶 2. Raag Training (Yaman & Bhairav)

Understand the fundamentals of Raag Yaman and Raag Bhairav through structured exercises. Practice Sargam-based songs, full Sargam Geet, and introductory Lakshan Geet. Improve your ability to read notation, place swars accurately, and handle tempo variations confidently.

🥁 3. Rhythm Practice with Numbers

Build a strong sense of rhythm using clapping, recitation, and song application. Learn Layakari (rhythmic variations) in patterns like 3/3, 4/4, and 3/2/2, helping you stay in sync with taal while singing.

🎼 4. Rabindra Sangeet Training

Learn 6 to 8 Rabindra Sangeet songs from basic to lower-intermediate level. Explore taals like Dadra, Keharwa, and Teora. Focus on notation reading, lyrical expression, and dynamic control (soft and loud singing).

🎤 5. Song Presentation Skills

Enhance your performance with proper expression, confidence, and stage presence. Learn how to present songs effectively with emotional depth and clarity.

📖 6. Notation & Theory

Understand the basics of music theory including swar symbols, taal markings, and how to write simple Sargam. Learn to identify important elements like Sam and Khali in compositions.

🌟 7. Performance Skill Development

Develop your overall musical personality with practical performance training. Gain confidence to perform in front of an audience with proper rhythm, pitch, and expression.
