Raag & Sargam Mastery:
In-depth work on Raag Yaman and Raag Bhairav, along with Sargam Geet and introductory Lakshan Geet. Emphasis is placed on accurate swar placement, notation reading, and adapting to tempo variations.
Rhythm & Layakari:
Strengthening rhythmic sense through clapping, recitation, and song application. Students practice Layakari in patterns like 3/3, 4/4, and 3/2/2 to build timing precision and coordination.
Rabindra Sangeet Repertoire:
Learning 6 to 8 songs ranging from basic to lower-intermediate level, covering taals such as Dadra, Keharwa, and Teora. Focus is on notation reading, expressive singing, and understanding lyrical depth.
Notation & Theory:
Detailed study of Rabindra Sangeet notation, swar symbols, and taal structures. Students learn to write basic Sargam and identify key elements like Sam and Khali.
Song Presentation & Performance Skills:
Enhancing stage presence, confidence, and delivery. Students are trained to present songs with clarity, emotional connection, and proper expression.
