At the intermediate level, learners strengthen their understanding of raags and taals, practice traditional bandish compositions, and build essential skills in alap, bol-alap, and taans, with a strong focus on voice culture, pitch accuracy, and rhythmic control.
As the course progresses to the advanced stage, students explore complex and rare raags, refined khayal gayaki, and intricate improvisational techniques including vilambit and drut presentations, bol-taans, and advanced layakari. Emphasis is placed on developing an individual musical identity, expressive depth, and confident stage performance. The course prepares learners for concerts, competitions, teaching, and higher studies in classical music.
